Outright owning of a pony is very expensive these days. The British Horse Society averaging costs of £7000 per year to say nothing of the twice daily trips to the stables! Shetland pony club is a fraction of the price.
- We do all the major work, mucking out and care of the pony so you do not have to visit twice a day.
- You do not have the worry of trying to find a suitable pony (not easy!) or paying a lump sum to buy it.
- You do not have to worry about vet bills, worming, horse dentist, laminitis, equine flu and all the other problems that can affect ponies.
- You will be outdoors having fun and not in front of a computer.
- Who knows you may become a champion jockey if you start young enough.
- You will be very happy bonding with your pony.
- You will be learning to be responsible by caring for your pony.
- He can come too, get some outdoor fresh air on a lovely estate in Surrey and enjoy a coffee afterwards but best of all be with you on a regular basis!
